Dr. Wenshu Yu

Dr. Yu is a dedicated rheumatologist originally from China, who moved to the United States at the age of 9. She grew up in Utah and Massachusetts and pursued her academic journey in the field of medicine with great distinction. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, Dr. Yu went on to receive her Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of Massachusetts Medical School, where she graduated with honors, including membership in the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.

Dr. Yu completed both her Internal Medicine Residency and Rheumatology Fellowship at Dartmouth Medical School in New Hampshire. Afterward, she spent over a decade in Western Colorado, serving as the Medical Director of Grand Mesa Rheumatology Clinic. In 2020, she relocated to Utah, where she continued her practice and later moved to Idaho Falls in 2024 to serve the rheumatology community in Southeastern Idaho.

Dr. Yu's clinical interests focus on patient advocacy and involvement in federal and state legislative efforts aimed at improving the rheumatology field. In her personal time, she enjoys spending quality moments with her family, hiking, and skiing.
